Central to my therapeutic perspective is the belief that my clients can experience a growing sense of self within a containing environment. This promotes a sense of psychological well-being. For this reason clients feel safe, valued and accepted as I approach sensitive issues in an empathic, genuine way that is non- judgmental.
I use the rich symbolic language of different psychodynamic models to explore the ways in which clients’ representations of past and present relationships are formed and the effects they have on their psychological development.
